A few weeks back I personally attended a graduation of teenagers that had just finished a 1 week program called SuperCamp, where children which were struggling to fit in, finding classes difficult, trying to work out what they are good at or ok and just wanted to increase your grades attended.

Over this week they formed teams where individual children could become closer to their team leaders and members, whilst being taught specific methods to combat problems in everyday life. Do you think that such programs are important, consider there implications and affect they have? 

Many of these methods can be used in many different situations. The graduation showed the extent that the camp had on children's confidence and the impact it would have on their lives and what they had accomplished. All the children were sad to leave and it was of big importance to them.

Homeless Stories

Watch and listen to the stories of these homeless people. although this is about people in America many Australians are going through similar problems and need some sort of opportunity to turn their lives around. Anything Helps.

In the last week this video below went viral over social media streams like reddit and facebook. Its extremely hard to be homeless, none of us can even imagine unless we have been in their position.  Imagine if you had no family to turn to, no job, no money and no where to live. Who would help you? So many of us walk past homeless people on the streets and act as if we don't see them, act as if they are not there. It takes a lot of courage for people to ask for money, as this man puts it, its humiliating. Many homeless people get abused and looked down on by the public and this is not right. Imagine if this was you or someone you know.  Are you one of the thousands that walk past pretending they are not there? Small acts of kindness lead a movement. If you help someone in need maybe someone else might see and be inspired to also do something which in turn might inspire another. This problem is not going to fix itself.

Help make a difference in another person’s life. Not only will customers be allowed to come and experience the café in person they also have the opportunity to help individual homeless people by choosing to sponsor their story in-store or online through our website. 

This means that all customers can personally be able to connect with an individual and feel proud that they have contributed to an employee’s education and rehabilitation and will be able to follow their stories online. This rehabilitation program is the first of its kind worldwide providing 360° support. To enable success and create a movement we need as much help from our community as we can get through donations, sponsors, suggestions for improvement and word of mouth marketing in order to help solve this social problem.

This sponsorship program would be similar to world visions sponsorship program although with our sponsorship program multiple people will be able to sponsor each employee. You will be granted access to follow the particular homeless persons story online and get the benefit of knowing that you took the time out of your day to help change someones life for the better.
